Equine Grass Enhancer + Blend

Just like our popular Enhancer - The Equine Grass Enhancer + Blend, We have added millet  to this blend to help get cover and paddock growth to increase green living plants ability for soil health and function, whilst the bulk of the pasture seeds are slower to germinate and establish longer term- perfect balance for  getting seed established initially and allowing more desirable  grass a buffer while they get established

 Enhancing and improving pasture system

This seed mix is perfect for 

   Equine  Grass   mix of high quality seed** high germination rate seed, the perfect seed mix for increasing biodiversity and grass species of plant available for horses to graze upon.  Highly palatable multi species pasture blend for horses.  Great blend for compacted tired soils or after drought periods. Good pasture blend for paddocks that need longer recover periods and reestablish some palatable grass paddocks for their horses.

• Rhodes Grass  Fine cut 
• Rhodes Grass Katambora
• Blue Grass**
• Bambatsi
• Teff Grass
• Cocksfoot Grass
• Millet 

Suggested Planting Rate - into  pasture 2-8kg/ha  

Horses that like more natural grassland diet.

Enchaining gut health with  more naturalized  pasture mix.

**All seed is bare seed  however  Creeping Blue Grass seed  is coated due to  low supply issues  of bare uncoated  Seed was not available. 

Growing 

 Slower to establish pasture mix, small seed mix, allow for maximum growth before grazing, this will also help root establishment, and more natural balanced forage / roughage source for grazing. Fertilizer programs are recommended to keep pasture in good health and enhance its growing cycle. allowing light grazing, then let the plant recover.

Grazing down to ground is not recommended for these types of grasses so grazing management is highly recommended. Can be sown in to grass paddocks or mixed in with our other seed mixes, also grows well with legumes for soil health.
